The Queen of Pop has
already arrived in Prague. She arrived at
Old Ruzynske Airport by private plane, Tuesday
evening just before 5pm. The photographers
waited for her in vain. She was able to leave
the airport without the press seeing her.
All afternoon dozen of reporters and photographers
waited outside the airport at the entrance
where Madonna's cars were lined up. The police
escort arrived by motorcycle and cars. The
police and photographers passed the time joking
with each other while awaiting Madonna's arrival.
At 3:30pm someone shouted "Here she comes!"
The photographers started getting their equipment
ready. A small plane pulled up directly in
front of them. While they anticipated Madonna's
arrival, instead about 30 of Madonna's team
got off the plane and got into two minibuses.
The photographers agreed Madonna would probably
be on a second plane and stayed to wait for
her.
Suddenly the wait took a new turn. Shortly
after the minibuses left the limousines and
police escort drove directly ont to the runway.
About 20 minutes before 5pm a small plane
taxied towards the airport terminal. Several
reporters shouted, "she's here"
and all cameras focused on the spot of the
runway. It was another disappointment. The
plane disappeared behind a hangar where even
the TV cameras which were high up on booms
couldn't reach. This is how Madonna was able
to get into her Cadillac with tinted windows
totally avoiding the press. Police escorted
her with sirens blaring, lights flashing to
Prague's Four Seasons Hotel. The Cadillac
drove directly into the underground garage
of the hotel.
Her program in Prague was set up by her tour
agency so the public in Prague doesn't know
her schedule aside the concert information.
More tickets were realized at 1am on Sept.

MADONNA YOU HAVE MADE
MY DAY, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR PUTTING PRAGUE
ON YOUR LIST
I have posted this letter on Icon board in November
2005 and today is the day it was officially
announced that Madonna would be performing in
Prague at Sazka Arena on September 6th, 2006.
I'm sooo happy for my friends in Czech, Slovakia.
They have been her fans forever and they have
long awaited this visit. Thank you so much.

Madonna you should definitely visit Eastern
Europe.
Let's say Prague.
You have sooo many fans there who followed your
every move for 20 years and had no chance to
see you live in concert. As you know Eastern
Europe was, for a very long time, part of the
Communist Block and it was very hard for you
to visit and even harder for us to travel abroad
to see you. Even now, with Eastern Europe integrating
into the European Union, it's still not easy.
Most of the people cannot afford to travel to
London or Paris. I was one of those fortunate
enough to be able to come to the USA, and after
12 years of being your fan, I finally got my
chance to see you live on your Drowned World
Tour. I wish all of my friends from Slovakia
could have that chance too. So they can experience
your true energy live not just from the stories
I tell them. They have stood by you for so long,
they love you with all their hearts and they
would treasure your visit forever.
I would like to thank you. Because of you, I
have found the greatest friends you can wish
for, friends that stay forever, even now that
I'm here and they are back home. Thank you for
bringing us together.
Daniela. |

Madonna confesses: “The world is my dance
floor”.
The world’s most famous female singer
sets out on a world tour. Madonna will dance
and sing on the stages of almost all over the
world including Prague’s SAZKA ARENA.
The American part of the world tour is taking
place nowadays. Madonna is yet to perform at
more than ten concerts on this part of her tour.
She will tour Phoenix, Miami, Montreal, Boston,
New York and other cities. Then she will go
to the stadiums and halls in France, the Netherlands,
Wales, Italy, Germany and Japan. She is going
to perform at eight sold-out concerts in London
while six concerts will be held in New York
and four concerts in Paris.
Fans can look forward to a two-hour mega show,
which comes from Madonna’s long-time collaborator
Jamie King and Stuart Price. Two other long-time
members of Madonna’s creative team –
Arianne Phillips and Jean Paul Gaultier –
take care of costumes. So far these concerts
have been considered the best in Madonna’s
art history and, naturally, a spectacular show
for everyone.
Madonna’s last “Re-Invention Tour”
was the best in 2004 according to the Billboard
magazine.
The composer, child book writer, producer and
