Thank you to Josko our informer in Prague for the news. When asked about how she looked coming out he said "She is beautiful!"

"All ticketholders who enter the arena will not be allowed to enter with any flowers, teddy bears, or any other toy that they would like to give to Madonna as a present. This is a request from her management."
17:53
The spokesman of the Police department in Prague, Ladislav Bernasek, appears on the Czech Television, speaking about fake tickets being found outside the Sazka Arena
18:05
The Gate of Sazka Arena are open and fans have entered the arena scooping up the best seats in the house, right by the stage. So far they are just a few hundred but organizers are expecting most people to arrive around 19:00
19:32
Czech TV reported that the police are closely watching for scalpers around the arena. Every suspicious person has one policeman watching him and there is around 120 policemen outside the arena

19:35

TV Nova reported that about 10 policeman escorted one of the scalpers away from the Arena
20:08
Outside the Sazka Arena it's so busy that it looks like an auditions into a Hollywood Mega movie. Many girls are dressed in cowboy costumes, just like Madonna was dressed for Music. You can see in everyone’s face that they are happy to be here and can’t wait to see the Queen live in concert for the first time

20:30

Sazka Arena is nearly completely full

20:34
Fans don't have a chance to see the soccer game between Czech - Slovakia for the qualifying into EURO 2008. This is a big deal, no like when Red Hot Chili Peppers had a concert here. While they were playing the fans could watch soccer on the screens
20:36
Everyone is waiting patiently for Madonna
20:49
Sazka Arena looks like one big disco floor. Disco ball are hanging down from the sealing. People can't wait to see the Queen, Madonna, they are calling her name very loud
21:02
the crowd does the wave and it goes through the whole arena
21:11
It gets dark in the arena
21:11
Huge Disco ball comes down from the ceiling
21:20
The queen of Pop is on the stage for the first time in Prague, first time in Easter Europe
21:20
She is wearing the riding outfit and singing “Future Lover"
21:23

21:31
"Ladies and Gentleman of Czech Republic, thank you for coming", said Madonna while behind her they show video of the city while she sings "Jump"

21:44
Sazka Arena is breathing the first notes of "Live to Tell." The video is showing the hunger and poverty of the third world countries. Madonna is crucified. When she got down from the cross the whole arena of her fans cheered for her
21:50
The cross has disappeared from the stage. Madonna is getting ready to sing “Isaac.”

22:02
Now she sings "Like It or Not" in her high hills and burgundy color boots

22:09

The star of the evening has disappeared. On the screens you see video of Osama bin Laden, George Bush, Fidel Castro and the nuclear bomb to go off. Then Madonna runs into the stage all dressed up as a rock star with a guitar
22:11
Is the next song "Ray of Light?” Is she keeping the same song list as before?

22:15

At the end of the song "I Love New York" there was a little problem with the sound, her guitar was vibrating a little. Then for "Ray of Light" she asks the arena to jump up and down

22:34
While she was singing the song "Let It Be" she really talked shit about American president George Bush
22:40
now she is singing "Paradise" (Not for Me) from her album "Music". Madonna is giving a microphone to some of her fans in the first row to help her sing

22:44
Madonna's song "Music" was played in the year 2000 in the clubs all over the world and she is singing it now on the stage in her Travolta suite where she does the famous move where she grabs her crotch

22:56
After an hour and 45 min the stage got lit up by the sun. Madonna dancing between the palms started the hit "La Isla Bonita" from her album True Blue

23:01
The end is unfortunately very close. Madonna got into the sexy moves in Erotica and trough the arena you can hear the beginning of "Hung Up" (the last song of her show

23:05
The end is here. The golden balloons falling down from the ceiling. Madonna has her jacket and glasses on, which always belongs to song Hung Up

23:09
... "Have You Confessed?" ... The End ... The first Prague show of the Queen just ended!

23:36
I just called my friend Josko who just got out of the arena and he said that the atmosphere was amazing; everyone was screaming, dancing, singing. Madonna was very relax and beautiful the whole time.

She even let fans sing the whole part of the Drowned World / Substitute For Love:
"
The face of you
My substitute for love
My substitute for love
Should I wait for you
My substitute for love
My substitute for love"

She was talking a lot about freedom and that we should respect our freedom, probably referring to Czechoslovakia being a Communist country for a very long time.

Thank you to my friend Josko for the hot news from Prague, Estelle and Paul for the help with the translation from Czech to English language

MADONNA YOU HAVE MADE MY DAY, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR PUTTING PRAGUE ON YOUR LIST

I have posted this letter on Icon board in November 2005 and today is the day it was officially announced that Madonna would be performing in Prague at Sazka Arena on September 6th, 2006. I'm sooo happy for my friends in Czech, Slovakia. They have been her fans forever and they have long awaited this visit. Thank you so much.

Madonna you should definitely visit Eastern Europe.
Let's say Prague.

You have sooo many fans there who followed your every move for 20 years and had no chance to see you live in concert. As you know Eastern Europe was, for a very long time, part of the Communist Block and it was very hard for you to visit and even harder for us to travel abroad to see you. Even now, with Eastern Europe integrating into the European Union, it's still not easy. Most of the people cannot afford to travel to London or Paris. I was one of those fortunate enough to be able to come to the USA, and after 12 years of being your fan, I finally got my chance to see you live on your Drowned World Tour. I wish all of my friends from Slovakia could have that chance too. So they can experience your true energy live not just from the stories I tell them. They have stood by you for so long, they love you with all their hearts and they would treasure your visit forever.

I would like to thank you. Because of you, I have found the greatest friends you can wish for, friends that stay forever, even now that I'm here and they are back home. Thank you for bringing us together.

Daniela.

The world’s most famous female singer sets out on a world tour. Madonna will dance and sing on the stages of almost all over the world including Prague’s SAZKA ARENA. The American part of the world tour is taking place nowadays. Madonna is yet to perform at more than ten concerts on this part of her tour. She will tour Phoenix, Miami, Montreal, Boston, New York and other cities. Then she will go to the stadiums and halls in France, the Netherlands, Wales, Italy, Germany and Japan. She is going to perform at eight sold-out concerts in London while six concerts will be held in New York and four concerts in Paris.

Fans can look forward to a two-hour mega show, which comes from Madonna’s long-time collaborator Jamie King and Stuart Price. Two other long-time members of Madonna’s creative team – Arianne Phillips and Jean Paul Gaultier – take care of costumes. So far these concerts have been considered the best in Madonna’s art history and, naturally, a spectacular show for everyone.

Madonna’s last “Re-Invention Tour” was the best in 2004 according to the Billboard magazine.

The composer, child book writer, producer and video-missionary with an unrivalled reputation for her amazing stage show, who has received a few Grammy awards, has sold more than 200 million copies of her albums during her music career.
