| Madonna
has played an intimate gig for devoted music fans at New York's Roseland
Ballroom to celebrate her 11th studio album, Hard Candy. Some fans waited for several days outside the venue in order to catch a glimpse of the popstar. |
Madonna
was joined onstage by surprise guest Justin Timberlake who sings
on her latest hit 4 Minutes. |
| The set saw the Material Girl fly through songs Candy Shop, Miles Away, Hung Up, Give it 2 Me and Music in approximately 30 minutes. |
| Madonna told the 2,000-plus crowd she felt "like the luckiest girl in the world to be able to make a record with him (Timberlake), Timbaland, Pharrell Williams, Kanye West." |
| She added: "And even though I've made what seems like 100 records, every time I put one out it's like the first time, and the best time." |
